The Things That Get In Your Way

Yesterday I thought I had all day to write. I was sitting on my couch, with my laptop where it belonged, on my lap, when I got a text from the nurse who was working.

“Did you forget you were working for me?”

I jumped up, still in my pajamas. “Uh, yup.” I looked at the clock. I was already 15 minutes late. “I’ll be right there.

The end of my writing for the night.

Today, on the other hand, I have been able to write for about 3 hours.

Eden’s story is getting more complex. Sometimes, I think it may be too complex.

I hope not.

’til next time………….

I have been an RN for over 45 years and all my fiction writing uses my nursing as a backdrop. My protagonists are nurses needing to solve mysteries. On a non-fiction note, I'm still working as an RN, raising grandchildren, and writing whenever I can.
