It’s Done

As of Oct 26th, I will be retired from my day job. It was with mixed feelings that I have done it, but it was time. I finally realized that nursing was a young person’s game.

Now, I am delving head long into my writing. Until now, I have concentrated on my novel due to time constraints, but now I can work on other types of writing, do more reading, and honing in on maybe, just maybe, getting my name more recognizable to the public.

So, for me, this more dedicated writing path is exciting. I know it will be, like any road, smooth, rocky, confusing, and sometimes even as dusty as a dirt road. I’m going to keep it in gear and keep moving. I hope you’ll hop in and take the ride with me.

I have been an RN for over 45 years and all my fiction writing uses my nursing as a backdrop. My protagonists are nurses needing to solve mysteries. On a non-fiction note, I'm still working as an RN, raising grandchildren, and writing whenever I can.
