Well, my first week of retirement and it still feels weird. You do something for fifty-one years and all of a sudden stop. It takes a minute. Ya know?
I’ve gotten a lot of writing done and book 3, Relative Justice, is moving right along. I figure I’m about 3/4 done. My editor likes what she’s reading, but I still need to improve my sentence structure. Her corrections are about where to put the commas, etc. I love the writing and the story telling. I’m good at that. I’m just not as good at the sentence structure. It’s coming right along, though.
I talked with my dearest friend yesterday. When we hung up I started thinking about her. I hope everyone has a friend like her. We don’t talk for months and months, but when we do, it’s like we just fall into step. It’s great. My book, Distortions, was started a million years ago with her and me sitting in my garage making up characters, plots, and who, when it became a movie, would play the lead roles. It was so much fun.
Well, back to it.
Until next time………………..
